| | Girl Talk | ] | Greetings everyone --
Whether you realize it or not, I haven't been on in a while. I recently got a promotion at work and have been actually working my ass off from 8-5. Not a concept I'm all that familiar with nor fond of.
Here's a brief summary to bring you up to speed with my life:
1. Riding Tranquility with my daughter = good 2. No band practice = bad 3. Homemade pies from scratch = good 4. Sarah Palin = bad 5. Baseball postseason = good 6. Baseball postseason without the Yankees = bad
and here's a little something funny you may have seen:

Ciao for now... |

How is your gash?
Is it still sore?
Last night we were discussing your gash (Bob brought it up of course), and Miah said he hadn't seen it! We told him there were pictures of your gash all over the internet and he should definitely check it out.
So if you have any updated pictures of your gash, please post them right away.
Your concerned friend, Brad |

The Dark Knight was good. Really good. You should see it.
In other movie news, Film Streams is showing Hayao Miyazaki movies the next two weekends. If you're not familiar with this living legend, do yourself a tremendous favor and introduce yourself. |

| | Oakley Hall | ] | Okay people, I need your input...
I was having a discussion the other day about a musical equivalent of "jumping the shark".
The best that I came up with so far was "went electric" (ie - "The Replacements really went electric when they released Don't Tell a Soul.". You know, like how the Dylan folk acolytes and the jazz purists all decried their favorite sons using electric instruments.
Any ideas? |
